About Fatima Zamudio, MPH, RD, LD, CHE
¡Hola! Welcome to The Wellness Cocina. My name is Fatima Zamudio and I am a bilingual wellness dietitian that loves food, nutrition, cooking, and traveling. My nutrition journey began at an early age and later flourished while living in different countries and learning about the importance of a healthy relationship with food. During my travels I also learned that delicious and nutritious meals can be quite simple. And that the secret ingredient when cooking is always LOVE!
I am passionate about helping people make sustainable lifestyle changes that will help them to reach their wellness goals and lead healthier lives. My approach is to meet clients where they are and provide personalized support, ensuring they don't feel deprived or socially isolated, while still enjoying their lives. By adopting a self-compassion and self-kindness approach, I aim to empower you to make lasting, positive changes. I believe wellness is about balance, and I am here to help you embrace a fulfilling, enjoyable lifestyle that nurtures both your body and mind. Whether in-person or virtually, I am here to support you on your wellness journey.

Carbs are bad for us!!! Carbs are wonderful and we need them to provide us with energy. The key is to focus on the healthful carbs that are going to provide us with more nutrients, fiber, and protein! So yes, it’s perfectly okay to enjoy your potatoes and pasta. :)
